Synopsis: “Sixteen-year-old Rose arrives at sleepy, remote Millwood expecting to spend a quiet summer with her aunt and uncle on their estate. But after a series of dark and disturbing dreams, and the surprise arrival of charming brothers Oscar and Caicus Valero, her world is thrown upside-down. What are the brothers hiding? And what is it about Oscar that is so familiar? Before the summer is out, Rose will be forced to confront her destiny, even if it means facing the demon of her dreams.”

Rating: **

I received a free copy of How I Found You in exchange for an honest review.

My initial thought was that this was a very stereotypical supernatural YA novel, that fit well with the Twilight trend of recent years. Rose did seem to have a bit more about her than the stereotypical Bella, but I found the way the brothers were able to manipulate everyone else so easily a bit corny and convenient. Unfortunately, these thoughts stayed with me throughout the book. How I Found You was definitely a bit too Twilight-y for me, but fans of Twilight would definitely enjoy it!

Personally, I think How I Found You just needed a bit more. A bit more depth, a bit more description, and this is in no way a bad thing. If Gabriella Lepore decides this is going to be the first in a series, then it is a good start and is definitely something to build upon.
