I received a free copy of All Sleep in exchange for an honest review.
I was genuinely hooked and intrigued by the first sentence "I do not condone killing your children." The first story “Floaties” in this collection of 4 short stories was the longest and strongest, and for this reason the most memorable. The interaction between the psychiatrist and the patient in “Floaties” was very interesting, with the patient almost counselling the psychiatrist as well as the usual way around. All 4 of the short stories were relevant to today and occurred in normal situations, which made them all the more relatable. They were all written very well, which personally I think is a greater skill than writing a full length novel as the author needs to portray the same amount and type of information (situation, motivations, outcomes) but in a far smaller way.
I would definitely read more books by A.C Moyer.
