Pages: 93

Synopsis: "A poor young fisherboy in the Amazon discovers ancient Incan ruins and is given a vision of far away gold waiting to be found by him. What follows is an adventure through the amazon to find this gold and what the boy truly searches for."

Rating: **

I received a free copy of The River Exotic in exchange for an honest review. The River Exotic tells the story of Thiago; an orphaned fisherman from a village in the Amazon. Inspired by Paulo Coehlo, The River Exotic definitely had that slow, meandering, thoughtful feel to it and was written very skillfully and expertly. Vivid descriptions and philosophic ruminations on wealth and happiness.
